2016 - 2020
We took hair loss personally
In 2014, Bakst and Verbs were just two guys facing the same limited options everyone else faced: Minoxidil, Finasteride, or a hair transplant. But we weren’t satisfied. What started as personal frustration became a shared conviction — the lack of progress wasn't a scientific dead end, it was a funding problem.
2021 - 2025
We built the world’s leading hair laboratory
In 2021, we founded HairDAO — a decentralised research community with one goal: turn a slick bald scalp fully hairy. We funded studies with leading researchers worldwide, opened our own lab, and cut study cost and time by over 95%.
2025 - Present Day
