Information from Apple HealthKit, to the extent you choose to sync your HealthKit data with Anagen, is used by our healthcare professionals and clinical support staff for purposes related to clinical care and healthcare management. We do not use or disclose HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, or other use-based data mining purposes other than improving health management.

If Anagen LLC is sold to, or merges with, another company, we reserve the right to include your Personal Information among the assets transferred to the acquiring company. If so, Anagen LLC will seek to obligate the acquiring company to use any Personal Information transferred by this site in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy, but cannot guarantee that it will be able to impose that requirement or that the acquiring company will comply.

Anonymized and Aggregated Data; Advertising

We may de-identify, anonymize, or aggregate personal information in accordance with applicable law, including HIPAA, so that it can no longer reasonably be used to identify you. Anonymized and aggregated data may be used for any lawful business purpose, including but not limited to analytics, research, and product improvement.

We may use HIPAA-compliant intermediary services to enable interest-based advertising. These intermediary services are designed to strip or filter any Protected Health Information before data is transmitted to third-party advertising platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, or similar services. No Protected Health Information, individually identifiable health information, or patient records are shared directly with advertising platforms. We do not upload patient lists, customer email lists, or other identifiers derived from the provision of healthcare services to any advertising platform, unless such data has first been processed through a HIPAA-compliant intermediary that removes all protected identifiers in accordance with the HIPAA de-identification standard under 45 CFR § 164.514.

We may use non-health-related information, such as data from users who have opted in to marketing communications but who have not engaged with our healthcare services, for advertising purposes including custom and lookalike audience creation on third-party platforms. Such use is limited to information that does not constitute Protected Health Information and is subject to applicable privacy laws.

We may also combine any public and non-personal information you provide with information from other users to create aggregate data to display on the Website. This sort of statistical information is called aggregate data because it reflects the characteristics of a large group of anonymous people.
