Hair transplant. Traveled from Finland, boat both ways. Get someone to drive you both ways if possible, makes it much easier. Communication before, during and after the transplant was great, and the procedure itself was done very professionally. Healing was fast and suprisingly easy. Very happy with the results so far!
I flew from Salt Lake City, Utah to Stockholm specifically to have my second procedure with Akacia Medical — and it was worth every mile. After thorough research I chose Akacia for my first transplant, and the results were so far beyond my expectations that coming back for Round 2 was an easy decision. The frontal result was everything I hoped for, and I returned to target the crown and add additional density. Akacia is clearly not the average local clinic — patients travel internationally specifically because the quality of work speaks for itself. The attention to detail, the care of the entire team, and the thoroughness of the post-op instructions give you confidence you're in the right hands. This is a tight, experienced team that has worked together for years — you're not going to have someone learning their craft on your head. 3,574 grafts placed with the same meticulous approach as the first time. I crossed an ocean twice to work with Akacia. That should tell you everything.
After several years suffering with Long Covid, I found the H-bot therapy to be really helpful. I received great help from Agnes, who was very supportive during the whole therapy sessions. Anyone suffering with Long Covid symptoms, I can highly recommend H-bot.
Would definitely recommend in terms of quality, standard of care etc. Saw Simons video on youtube and thankfully I had a better starting position than him, yet my results were amazing. For context, 27 yr old male, receding in corners, had 1500 grafts. Procedure was great, quick, easy, pretty painless and had about 4/5 sessions of PRP afterwards. saw about 80% of the progress after appx. 9 months. Now 2 years later it continues to sustain and look great.
Did a hair transplant at Akacia abit over a year ago. Super happy with the result. Did max amount of grafts mainly in the front hair line. Within 2 months I had a pretty decent buzz cut look going with slight red skin in the implant area. And by 3 months was a normal buzz cut going. The service was amazing, Simon is really amazing and friendly and was helping along the way and days leading up to it So appreciated all his help during the process. They are super professionals and well organized. They fly in experts to perform the surgery and are great. I honestly wish I had done this sooner. The only painful moment was when getting the local anesthetic shots. But the team where so supportive and considerate to try to distract one from the pain and keep calm. Otherwise its basically like going to the dentist. If your reading the reviews I would suggest to just go for it! Thanks again Simon and the whole team! Really super service and quality.
