I was looking Dr. Cooley’s contact information up for a friend and clicked on his reviews just out of curiosity. I can not say enough good things about his practice and the results that come out of it. I first saw him in 2013 for (I think) 4500 follicular transplants - all in one day. The day might as well have been a spa day. It was that easy going FOR ME. I’m sure he and his Team were exhausted. The results were as expected and everything was great. I was in for a check up about 18-24 months later and was elated with the results. He commented that he was also pleased but that if I wanted to take things a bit further, I had very thick donor site hair and he could easily do another 3,000 follicles. I went with it. It has now been well over 13 years since my first procedure. I tell people it is the best money I have ever spent. When I show people pictures from before and then they see me now, they can not believe it. I have referred many people over the past 10-12 years and every single person has raved about their results. I interviewed surgeons in NYC, Beverly Hills, Dallas, Miami, and Scottsdale, and then finally gave the local North Carolina guy a shot. He was hands down the most impressive as far as his consultation was concerned and I really can’t imagine the results being any better than what I got. Even my closest longtime friends who knew exactly what I was doing, never even commented because things came in so gradually that nobody said anything I could not believe it. I had to say, “LOOK AT MY HAIR!!” Then when I show the picture of me taken right before the first procedure, suddenly they remember and can not believe the difference. Truly the best money I’ve ever spent. I can not say enough good about every aspect of my relationship and dealings with Dr. Cooley.

Dr. Cooley has a great bedside manner. He is a talented physician. He took great care of my husband. He kept checking on him during the first couple days after surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Cooley to anyone with CVG (Cutis verticis gyrata or hair loss issues.

I have had a number of procedures in the past and could have been a participant on Botched. I went to Dr Cooley as a hail Mary option prior to my childrens weddings. Dr Cooley was honest and sincere at our consultation. " I could plan 1000 grafts was his assessment." He gave me exercises to loosen my scalp. My wife and I were most impressed and appreciative. Fast forward to the procedure. Staring at 7 AM, he marked me and again described the procedure and answered additional questions. I was given light sedation and underwent the day long procedure without a hint of discomfort. I remember the staff being incredibly attentive and masterfull . Dr Cooley was ever present and encouraging . When completed he remarked. " We got 1400 grafts .. Good job on the scalp messaging". I was given a goodie bag of hair products to nourish the grafts and a repeat of instructions. The nest day I presented to have my hair washed and review additional helpful suggestions. Dr Cooley and staff are unique. Skilled, experienced , professional and excellent bed side behavior. Bravo. For anyone reading this review .. Please , please . Give Dr Cooley a call if you would like to entertain a hair restoration.

I’ve had 4 procedures with Dr Cooley. 2012, 2016, 2019 and 2022. My hairline is so natural and soft and nobody knows that I’ve had a hair transplant (Or 4 lol). Dr. Cooley is worth every dollar and I want to say thank you for giving me such a natural looking head of hair that still looks great after all these years

Had a consultation with Cooley Hair Center a couple of years ago and recently reached back out to try and schedule a transplant as I'm ready to move forward. After leaving a voicemail, sending several emails, and calling in several times (and them never following back up with me like they said they would), they finally said I'd have to do another consultation and would have to pay a fee for it. I've had consultations with other practices recently and my graft count has stayed the same since my first meeting with the Cooley team, and I said I'd be happy to provide them with that information or any new pictures they need which is all I had to provide them with for my first consult. I also asked that if I was forced to do another consultation if they could work with me on the fee given I'd already done one, or if we could apply the fee towards the procedure itself. After not getting back to me for weeks, they said they weren't willing to do anything about the fee and when I told them I was a bit taken aback they weren't willing to work with me at all on a solution, Teresa hung up on me. Cooley could be a great surgeon, but horrible customer service experience and unfortunately will be forced to find another practice.
