Today marked exactly one year since I had my DHI hair transplant, and I can honestly say it was a great decision. From the initial consultation to the procedure itself and the follow-up support, the entire team was professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring. The results have exceeded my expectations. My hair looks natural, the density is excellent, and the transformation has given me a significant boost in confidence. What really confirmed the success of the transplant was when my barber, who sees countless hairstyles, was genuinely impressed by the results and commented on how natural and well-executed the work was. A year later, I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I would like to thank the entire team for their professionalism, expertise, and care throughout the process. I highly recommend them to anyone considering a hair transplant.

After a year of waiting and hope, I was confirmed that technical and beginner failures were performed by DHI on my scalp, by numerus independant MD surgeons that I had to consult on my case, at my own expense... Multiple grafts on the frontline, no zigs-zags there neither, wrong orientation / angulation of the grafts, no coverage of the scalp with hair lenght, overall a visible general lack of density (due to a low survival rate of the grafts, on a very long surgery session, with a one hour lunch break and 20min smoking break for the duo that performed ; I also directly witnessed Aliki, the assistant, speaking with her mask down, 20 cm from my grafts collecting recipient, so most likely spiting on it before the implantation...). Overall, I have the full and feared 'doll hair effect' on the recipient area, while my donor is marked by the extraction (1 mm extractor punch, with thin hair). Finitions on the temples are also straight on a high frontline, which makes the transplant socially visible and not comfortable. I take minoxidil for years but I think topical finasterid might have been necessary throughout the year and after, but this clinic surprisingly doesn't prescribe it and even advice against. One year was lost in vain and I'm good for a corrective surgery (and an other year of patience), at my cost and with grafts definitly wasted for the future. Despite several askings, the clinic refused to deliver a bill with VAT (applicable to aesthetic surgeries under Greek law ?), and with the agreed session name ('Giga'). I went by my own means to the main clinic in Athens to consult the 'medical director' (V. Mantsioukas) whom cancelled last minute our meeting which I had to rescheduled (even if coming from abroad to meet him...), and then said 'everything was ok' and didn't admitted any failures neither due compensation. When on site, DHI refused to take any photos for my final yearly evaluation so I let my personal photos speak for itself, for evaluating this 'surgery' whom is a total failure and a non professional job. I don't really blame the young practionner that performed, but the 'hair mill' and empire that let this happens and organize that amateurship, for costs, profit and greedy reasons.
