  It has now been well over a year since my procedure, so I feel I’ve given it every chance to reach the final result. Unfortunately, the outcome is still very poor and nowhere near the density I was expecting. From early on I was concerned that not enough follicles had been implanted, but every time I raised this with Dr Wong I was told not to worry and to wait the full 12 months. What made the experience worse was that after the year had passed and the poor density was obvious, I returned to ask about having the area filled in. Instead of acknowledging that the original work may have been too conservative, I was quoted an extremely high amount to fix it, which felt unreasonable considering the outcome of the first procedure. For what was charged, I expected a far better result, clearer expectation setting, and some accountability when the final outcome was nowhere close to acceptable. I’ve tried to be patient and fair, but after more than a year I can honestly say it feels like a waste of money. I wouldn’t recommend this based on my experience.

  Saw Dr wong regarding an issue I have since being stung by a jelly fish while out ocean swimming many years ago. He was awesome and got me sorted in no time at all. This was an issue I had been dealing with for a few years after seeing a few doctors and finally Dr wong sorted it in no time at all. His staff were awesome too. Thanks for everything. 😊

  Horrible experience, had a hair transplant but dr wong didn’t put nearly enough folicles in and I had to wait a whole year for results that were shit. I had dr Wong the whole year saying don’t worry about my concerns and wait the full year. Waited the full year for horrible results then had Wong saying that I was meant to be on minoxidil for the hair transplant to be 50% more dense which I confirmed with gro clinics and they said that’s bullshit and not needed. So ended up getting another hair transplant for another 1400 follicles on top of wongs petty 800 follicles. Oh and dr wongs prices were double the price of gro clinics. Sorry for the little rant but that’s my experience with Garsing Wong and I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone.

  Dr Wong went over and above with his care to explain all the different treatment options available. He is very knowledgeable and tailored treatment specifically to my age and hair type (something a lot of other clinics do not do). Highly recommended Dr Wong for anyone with male patterned baldness. Very impressed with the clinics communication, staff and genuine interest in achieving the best and sustainable outcomes.

  I was very wary to undertake a hair transplant, but after meeting almost every Dr in Auckland Dr Wong seemed the best and the best value. He kindly put me in touch with a former patient who talked me through his experience and addressed all of my fears. I am only a few days after the operation but i have to say that I am delighted with my choice. Dr Wong was incredibly professional and made the procedure enjoyable. His guidance in the lead up to the day was helpful and comforting and the day itself was actually enjoyable! It is clear that Dr Wong is focused on perfection and continual improvement in everything that he does. The theatre was impressive and well managed and the process painless. The follow up has been regular and comforting and I am delighted with the results. If you are looking for a hair transplant in NZ i would strongly recommend these guys.
