I approached this hospital with the hope of having specialist about skin and chronic issue with that. After 7 hours wait - yes SEVEN - with a scramble of numbers and bad organization, I finally met the Doctor. I was assigned to met วัต Chinmanat Lekhavat, M.D. an absolutely worthless consultation, lacking of knowledge and human interaction! A terrible attitude filled with rudeness and snob. I show her a spot to cure and right away she prescribe a cream. Thing that could have been done in any clinic or hospital in town or in the world. When I asked about other remedies such as injection of IL-17 inhibitors she went out of her moon and became insecure and unknowledgeable about it. 👎🏽 She actually ask me about the solution and the existence in my country (?) 3 minutes was the visit time and she ask me to go if I not trust her. Absolutely a scammer and unreal experience. When I left, I just got to know that the hospital is a Government premises and “everything was clear” Please avoid this place and In particular วัต Chinmanat Lekhavat, M.D., if you look for resolve some issues on your skin rather than a scratch! HORRIBLE PERSON
Excellent place for skin treatment of local and foreign tourists in Bangkok. The doctors are so friendly. Process is very easy. No time consuming. Cost is reasonable not high.
Arrived at 10am was seen by a “doctor” at 4pm for 3 minutes. I went in with red spots all over my arms explaining how I’ve been ill for nearly a year with infection. I asked if it’s fungal or related to this and she said no. She tried to blame the arm on allergies but I said I don’t have allergy problems. Then she said it’s being caused by Keratosis pilaris. I asked if I needed any tests because I didn’t have this issue until I got ill and she said no. So a 6 hour wait + 2 hours travelling just for a doctor to see me for 3 minutes and tell me I need to use moisturiser.
This was my third visit, and sadly, the service has not improved. My appointment was scheduled for 2:00 PM, yet the registration counter only opens at 4:00 PM. This makes absolutely no sense. How can patients check in when the counter isn’t even open at their appointment time? It’s confusing and shows poor coordination. Given the repeated issues and lack of improvement, I would honestly recommend looking into other clinics or hospitals for dermatology or laser treatments. There are many places that offer better service, clearer communication, and more efficient systems. Patients shouldn’t have to deal with unnecessary delays and disorganization—especially not at a specialized medical institute.
The new facilities, now a little over 2 years old, are excellent. Like all Government establishments, it's best to arrive early, open at 06:00 am to get an early appointment. If you are traveling from out of town under your own steam, the car park here is accessed from the front right side, passing the pedestrian entrance on your left. You'll need to have a stamped receipt from the cashier to avail yourself of the extremely reasonable rates.
