Doctor Ratushny removed basal skin cancer cells from my forearm. The two inch incision took several stitches. I’m still amazed by the outcome. I am a 65 year old woman and don’t heal well from broken skin. I know he is an incredible Mohs surgeon, but he should add plastic surgeon to his resume. I literally don’t have a visible scar. He is brilliant, kind, and a great listener. He has a winning “bed side manner”, but at the same time, he is efficient. And as a side note, the staff at Mass Dermatology are friendly, patient, and knowledgeable as well. Five stars all around.
After developing a bald patch on the back of my head, my PCP at Atrius Health could not recommend Dr. Vladimir Ratushny enough for what she suspected was alopecia. Upon going to Massachusetts Dermatology Associates, I was immediately impressed with the efficient patient onboarding and ease of check-in. They always see me on time and have me out the door at a reasonable time. Thank you to Dr. Ratushny for explaining everything to me, I felt well-informed and comfortable every step of the way. When he suggested steroid injections in addition to a steroid topical solution and I voiced concern over the injections, he totally listened to me and we agreed to start with solution-only and see how it went. During treatment follow-ups, he checked progress but also other areas on my scalp to be sure I didn't get new spots. He asked about side-effects to be sure we didn't need to scale back the treatment cadence. I appreciate his thoroughness and felt he really cared. It's been under a year and my hair has grown in so well, I can't even find the spot anymore! THANK YOU! (attaching a before/after photo)
I have had the pleasure of being Dr Ratushnys patient for several years now. He found my melanoma and caught it early . He is the most thorough competent Dr I have ever seen and his bedside manner is so calming . I never feel rushed and he answers every question in detail for me. I had to move to Florida and had an precancerous mole . I wouldn’t let them touch me ! I made an appointment and flew up to see him to take care of the excisions and fly up ever 3 months just to keep him as my dermatologist… that’s how much I trust him . I can’t say enough great things about him . Look no further … I will be his patient forever !!!
I have been seeing Dr. Ratushny regularly for a few years . He always handles my skin issue well, the treatments were successful. Dr. Ratushny takes time to explain everything. He is very professional and pleasant. I would like to say thank you to Dr. Ratushny and his staff at Mass Derm.
I have been seeing Dr. Ratushny regularly for years and his skill, attention to detail and professionalism are second to none. He is thorough and listens to any concerns I may have and has dramatically improved the way I feel about my appearance. I also very much appreciate his moderate approach - after a cosmetic procedure, you leave the office looking like a well-rested, fresh version of yourself not overdone. In addition to aesthetic procedures, he is also an outstanding dermatologist and gave me a lot of peace of mind when I went in for a skin cancer screening.
